Vtg Hutschenreuther Porcelain Figurine Germany Bremen Town Musicians 1950s A+

  

(AKA "The Bremen Town Musicians"). This is a handmade underglaze painted piece.

It is richly colored with that lovely saturated glaze. The edge of the base is gilded. The charming faces and features of each character are absolutely lovable. This piece was made in Germany by the Hutschenreuther family factory circa 1955 - 1968 based on the style of hallmark.

It measures approximately 7½" high, 6" from nose to tail, and the oval base is 3¾"x2½". It is in exceptionally beautiful vintage pre-owned condition. It is free from any chips, cracks, crazing or other damage. The gold gilt edge is fully intact. (any odd white spots are just bounce from the camera flash).

All that despite the many points and narrow pieces in the sculpture. Pretty darn amazing considering it's about 75 years old!
