The rocaille scroll base with gilt highlights. To the front a triple fleur-de-lis oval cartouche Coat of arms of the Kings of France.Each figure finely hand crafted en painted. The base with gilt highlights and Dresden lace porcelain trimmed garments.

It was in business as the "Oldest Volkstedt Porcelain Manufactory" The porcelain factory was founded in 1760 by the porcelain maker Georg Heinrich Macheleid (1723 -1801) Volkstedt gained a reputation for its finely painted and carefully modelled porcelain figures that it holds for collectors today.
