Vintage NYMPHENBURG White Bisque Porzellan Porcelain Hippopotamus Biscuit Animals Figurine - RARE. It features a hippo standing while chewing on a flower with a weed on its back. This piece was designed by Louise Terletzki-Scherf of the Nymphenburg factory in Munich, Germany in the mid-1900s. Her signature is carved on the underside and it is numbered #723 and #17; the green Nymphenburg shield is also stamped on the belly.
