Collectible vintage Münchner Kindl "Munich child" porcelain figurine by Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufactury. Designed by Ernst Andreas Rauch for Nymphenburg Porcelain in 1945, the figure is the symbol most commonly found on the coat of arms of the city of Munich, and features a young boy dressed as a monk (or friar), wearing a pointed hood and holding a Bible. Base is impressed 905 with the shield mark used. From 1754 on all Nymphenburg objects, and. Stamped in green underglaze used from 1910 to 1975. Measures 5" high x 2 1/4" long x 2 1/2 deep and is in Excellent vintage condition free of nicks or fleabites, note a rough spot to the robe from manufacturing, please see all photos.
