This listing is for a circa 1940s German porcelain figural group of a mother and child by Hutschenreuther. The piece measures 10 3/4 inches high and is 11 inches at its widest. The figural group shows a mother and her young child.

She stands behind him holding his arm as he stands ready to take a first steps. The figures stand on a white oval plinth with a textured ground below their feet. They are hand painted with excellent attention to detail throughout. It is marked on verso "Hutschenreuther Selb Germany Kunstableilung", along with an oval with a lion at the center marked "LHS" all in green. The sculpture is in excellent condition and is ready for your home or shop.
