RARE Antique Germany Paper Mache Boy Sitting on Boulder Candy Container (4 1/2)

  
I have for sale an antique paper mache candy container. It features a young boy with a blue shirt and hat sitting on a large boulder. Made in Germany Size: 4 1/2 Approx. This is a very unusual piece that I couldn't track down a similar one. I couldn't find any markings, but it looks to be German.

The paint is still in nice condition with the only issue being the hairline crack the runs down the one side of the boulder. You can see an example of this in the (16th) photo above and many more below in the listing. I have provided nearly (4) dozen photos below to give you a more thorough view.
