Rare Antique 1870's Pair of German Porcelain Bisque Sculpture Figures Signed Triebner, Ens & Eckert. These are absolutely stunning in person, the photos simply do not do them justice. An extremely rare pair of exquisite German bisque porcelain figures of a boy and a girl dressed in 18th century style. Exquisitely hand painted facial features and tiny floral details, intricately hand crafted little flower crowns on the girl and the animals, very fine gilt details and set atop beautiful bases finished with flourishes and gilt details.
The boy is accompanied by a goat and is carrying bagpipes, the girl is feeding her sheep who has a matching flower crown. This stunning set would be a beautiful addition to your collection and a graceful addition to any room.
Circa late 19th century {18771887}. Signed with mark by Triebner, Ens & Eckert Volkstedt Porcelain in blue, this mark dates to 18771887. They were the earliest Volkstedt Dresden Porcelain Manufactory Company located in Dresden, Germany. Girl 13 3/4" tall 6" wide 6 deep.

Excellent Condition Condition indicative of age and history These are in incredible condition considering they are almost 150 years old The Girl: One tiny flower petal missing on her flower crown, one leaf of the leaves she is feeding to her sheep is chipped, one ear on the sheep may have been repaired, two tiny flowers on the sheep's flower crown are chipped. The Boy: Two teeny chipped petals in the flowers on his hat, repairs to his pinky and one finger tip on his right hand, small loss to the very tip of the goat's left ear, flea bites to his tail No crazing, discoloration or cracks. 8 lbs 3 oz pre packed weight.
