Antique Victorian Nouveau Bisque Porcelain Fairy Lady Maiden Figurine Figure

  
These are amongst the most beautiful and unique figurines I have had. Breathtaking modeling and colors, with lots of exquisite detailing! I wish I were able to add more pictures, as a limit of a mere 12 is simply not enough to capture all the beauty and detail. There is an attached vase on the back of each figure. They each measure about 9.75 inches at their highest point.

I believe these to be pre 1900 and of German origin. They are unmarked, but each have a hand written series of numbers; they appear to be consecutive. As to condition, they are far from perfect. I can see that there has been restoration work done to both hands on both figures, and I believe also to the wings on both of the figures.

I do not know, nor can I exactly tell, the extent of the restoration, but it is very well done. Please carefully examine the pictures. I discovered it myself on unwrapping them. Also, the tip of one of the male fairy's wings broke off during their journey to me, a result of inadequate packaging. I have the piece and will include it.

Nonetheless, despite the flaws, these display marvelously and would be a wonderful addition to any serious collection of fairies!
