Antique Huge German Meissen Porcelain Figurine, Couple, 18 high

  

Extraordinary pair of large size German porcelain figurines, from the manufacture Meissen. They represent a couple dressed in the Rococo style carrying flowers in their hands. From the second half of the 19th century, perhaps earlier. Large in size, they are around 18 inches tall.

Although both pieces are in very good condition for their age, they have two very small defects: the tip of the index finger of the lady's left hand is broken, about 2 millimeters. It is hardly noticeable with the naked eye. The other flaw is a workmanship flaw: the lady's base is not totally perfect, causing her to wobble very slightly. Although it might be thought to be due to restoration, I do not see any signs of restoration at the base. Otherwise, I do not see any other defect, although I do not rule out a tiny one in some petal or something tiny that I have not seen.
