Antique German Meissen-Johanson Roth Style Porcelain Figurine Couple, 15 high
Antique pair of German porcelain figurines, Meissen style, maybe Johanson Roth originals judging by the brand -but I can't be sure, since I'm not an expert- that represents two children carrying wicker baskets. Both with the classic fat baby faces that made Meissen porcelains famous.
From the second half of the 19th century, judging by its style and size. Manufacture markings on the bases, appearing to be an interlocking J and R. Measurement: About 15 inches high the boy, and 14.75 inches high the girl.
In fairly good condition for her age, the little finger on the girl's left hand has a broken tip.
