Antique Gebruder Heubach Shy Action Baby German Bisque 5 #9908

  

Hand painted porcelain bisque, this naked position baby has molded and brushed light brown hair with a tiny quiff on the top, intaglio blue eyes and and impish grin with his finger raised to his lips, original blushed cheeks, chubby enough to make you smile. He has incredible modeling and details - from his blue intaglio eyes to his baby wrinkles, tiny ears and belly button!

About 5 tall, marked on the bottom with the incised Heubach sunrise square and his model number, 9908. He is in wonderful and original condition, NO chips, cracks, or restoration and no damage found.

Just an incredibly sweet German piano baby made by Gebrüder Heubach, Lichten, Germany, in the 1880's to the 1920's. He is a wonderful example of Heubach action / position babies!
