8 Antique Ackerman & Fritz Dresden Porcelain Figurine Woman Reading Book
Offering a stunning antique Dresden figurine from Germany. The base is stamped with the crown F mark of Ackerman & Fritz. Featured is an 8 tall sculpture of a seated lady reading a book.
She is dressed in swathes of pink Dresden lace studded with small flowers and leaves. All fingers are present and there are no chips or repairs to the porcelain anywhere. The damage that she has sustained over the decades is to the lace of her skirt which has crumbled away in one lower section to reveal the smooth white base (shown in photos). A figurine with life and expression.
