19C Meissen Large 11 Porcelain Figure LOVER DISCOVERED D. 64 Discovered Lover Large 11 Figurine, modeled by J. PLEASE NOTE: This piece came in more than one size. This is the largest one and does not show up in the open market often.

The Figure features a couple on the bed. The lady is having her morning tea and biscuit. Behind the Lady is Cupid with his bow. At the foot of the bed is the Lady's husband, peering over the end of the bed as if he is looking for her Lover.

The Husband is holding a Love Letter from the Lady's Lover. At the end of the Bed is a Dog peering under the bed and barking, presumably at a stranger (lady's lover) under the bed.

The Figurine looks Great but on close inspection, I did see that there the Lady's foot is broken and I believe that there may be an old repair to Cupid's arm. This is a rather large piece measuring approximately 11" long, 6.5" tall, and 6 wide, and will weigh close to 10 pounds when packed. It has a 19C Blue Crossed Swords Under Glaze mark.
