A fantastical German porcelain monkey band figurine with a Scheibe-Alsbach mark, 20th century. This little monkey man is dressed in 18th century period stylings and is depicted playing the drums. Colorfully painted with gold gilt detailing along the base. 6"h and 2.5" dia base. Fair pre owned condition, some dust and general vintage surface wear, very light and minimal chipping to paint (mainly around monkey toes and hat brim), near where tail attaches to monkey's behind there appears to be some sort of wear (unsure if tail has been restored) - see photos.
