VINTAGE 12 LARGE BISQUE PIANO BABY SMILING W/ TEETH SHOWING CUP IN HAND. This is a lovely large Piano Baby figurine, BISQUE.

The figurine is approximately 12" tall x 10" long, weight about 5.8 Lbs in the store's scale. Mark is stamped on the bottom, possibly (Germany). The figurine is in excellent vintage condition, free of damage. Discoloration, no chips, no repair. Piano baby is a collector's term. About 1880, the well-decorated home had a shawl on the piano.

Bisque figures of babies were designed to help hold the shawl in place. They range in size from 5 to 18 inches. Most of the figures were made in Germany. Most of the piano babies date from the early twentieth century. Please read the Store's policy.
