Unterweißbach Aelteste Volkstedter Vintage German Porcelain Couple Figurine. The piece was produced by the Thuringia, Germany works and bears the mark used by the company from 1940 - 1953. That period of the company's history was marked by a transition to high quality artistic porcelain figurines. The piece features a couple in a garden, very much in the vintage Dresden style. The work is well done with lifelike features and fine hand painting. The piece measures 6 ¾" high, just over 6" wide and 3 7/8 deep. The figure is in very good condition. There are pictured flakes to two of the petals on her head bouquet and a micro flake on the back of the one in her hand.
