It is hand painted and was made in Germany. A bisque porcelain and the base, hair, and clothing are a glazed porcelain... Which gives a nice contrast. It is in excellent pre-owned vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or damage of any kind. It is marked on the bottom (as shown in picture). It measures 10" in height at the highest point (her outstretched hand) and is about 7" wide at the widest point. It will be carefully packaged for safe arrival to your home. Please feel free to send any questions about this item prior to purchasing. It needs to be packed with a thick layer of packing peanuts on all sides of the figure so it can be packed in a "floating" position. Box before purchasing and I can let you know what the cost will be.
