Antique Wax Angel Christmas Ornament Composition Red To Restore # 12. Could be used as a stand alone figure or a Christmas ornament.

Wig is out of shape, but can easily be reglued to the head. Most of the painted features of the eyes, & mouth are missing. Dressed in a gown of coarse red cotton with lace. No wings on her back.

Hook in center of back for hanging. Late 1800s or early 1900s. A very scarce and hard to find Christmas decoration! Unmarked, but probably German in origin.

Used - AS IS CONDITION. Surface of the wax/composition is very rough & soiled (see photos).

My Christmas book says it is common for wax to become very soiled over the years. I will leave it to the new owenr to clean.

Much paint & some composition wear. Again, there are no wings. Dress is faded & soiled (see photo). Hands & arms are not broken. Please look at the pictures carefully!
