Antique Pair Richard Eckert Volkstedt Group Figurine German Porcelain Boy Girl

  

A pair of antique Richard Eckert (Volkstedt) porcelain figurines. They are a rare/unusual subject matter with a girl teaching a boy - one figurine with multiple books/scrolls/pens and ink and a writing slope, and the other depicts music studies. The figurines are approximately 6 inches tall. The tip of the boy's flute is missing and there's damage to one or two fingers on that right hand, and on the other figurine the girl has been reattached at the waist and has damage to fingers on her right hand (the tip of the pen is pointing to these).
