Antique Karlsruhe Putti with Goat Majolica Pottery Planter Vase Figurine German

  
Offered for sale is this antique German majolica pottery figural planter vase, a putti riding a goat, with both wearing garlands of forget-me-nots. The figure was made by the Grand Ducal Majolica factory. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures. The figure is just over 13 inches tall, and approximately 11 inches long.

It is in excellent overall condition. There is a touched up fleabite to the base, and tiny glaze rub to the rim of one of the baskets - the tip of the pen is pointing to these. There are a few typical little manufacturing flaws - small kiln cracks and glaze misses - it was made like this. Please see the close up pictures.
