Antique Allegory Eucharist Triumph Christian Faith Eucharist Christian Lady 18th. Allegory Of The Eucharist And The Triumph Of The Christian Faith, Large Fixed Under Glass From The XVIII. Dear Buyers & collectors, We are Pleased to offer you a Gorgeous Unique Antique Beautiful Pitcher. Style: Louis 15th - Transition. Width: 30.5 cm and 41.5 cm with the frame.
Height: 39.5 cm and 50.5 cm with the frame. Magnificent set under large glass representing the triumph of the Christian faith holding an allegory of the Eucharist. Bavarian school of the 18th century where the Christian religion is represented in the guise of a lady of quality crowned and dressed in the fashion of the time, wearing sumptuous jewels and a sword in her left hand. His gaze is directed towards the consecrated host overhanging a precious chalice, symbol of the Eucharist.
Beautiful mahogany frame mounted with miter cuts. The colors remained very fresh and of great intensity. Some small uprisings at the bottom left visible in the photos and without any real impact on the reading of the work.
It is rare to come across one fixed under glass of such a large size in good condition and so well painted. A very beautiful set under collector's glass. 30.5 cm by 39.5 cm high for the painting.
