A beautiful pair of 19th century Meissen figure groups. Both first quality, and not outside decorated.
Both groups are picking eggs from trees. Both fully blue crossed swords marks with incised numerals. Both have remained in absolutely wonderful condition. There the usual expected chips and losses to those incredibly vulnerable leaves and flowers, and two tiny tiny fingers on the little girl at the base.
Other than these, I see nothing wrong with all the lovely figures or bases. It would be almost impossible to find 19th century vulnerable figures like these in better condition. They are about 22.5 cms high. Both pieces marked with early blue crossed swords marks, and various incised numerals of first quality, and not outside decorated. There are no cancellation marks through or near the swords.
