Vintage Sitzendorf Figural Inkwell Rococo Style Putti & Urns Porcelain Figurine
Very good used condition, missing inserts and lids, 2 small chips on one back foot. Pretty Rococo style base with applied flowers and putto figures. Hand painted floral decoration and embossed faces on wells.
Marked for Sitzendorf and dates between 1949 and 1990. Vintage Sitzendorf Figural Inkwell Rococo Style Putti & Urns Porcelain Figurine.This vintage Sitzendorf porcelain figural inkwell Inkstand features two putto figures and double urn style wells. The putti are seated on a shell at the center, one dressed with a blue scarf and one with yellow.
The Rococo style base is decorated with pink, blue and red flowers. It is accented with pink and blue ruffles and gold trim.The two urn style wells are decorated with a coordinating floral and ruffle and feature wonderful embossed faces (seen from the side). The well inserts and lids are missing and there are two small chips on one rear foot.
Otherwise its in very good condition, free of additional chips, cracks, repairs and crazing. The hand painted inkstand measures approx.
10" long x 6" wide x 6 high. It is marked for Sitzendorf Porcelain, Germany.
The mark was used between 1949 and 1990. I do not mark merchandise values below their actual value or mark items as "Gifts".
